Coal City USA Foundation Delta Chapter is devoted to fostering a meaningful, peaceful, and just world. We strategically aim at continually foster effective Community Outreach Project (COP) to the Delta regions.

CCUF Delta Chapter aim at developing standard model of peace building and conflict transformation trainings which are scheduled to take place at several universities, orphanages, older age homes, police, Ministries of Health, Education and Social Welfare, and other community centers.

Our Collaborators

CCUF Delta Chapter aim to collaborate with the Delta State University, Department of Peace and Ethnic Studies, Centre for Human Development & Social Transformation.

Objectives

• To promote girl child education and campaign against harmful, cultural / traditional practices against children.

• To offer financial and moral assistance to rural women and organize vigorous campaign towards the eradication of harmful widowhood and other traditional practices against women.

• To promote rural women empowerment and women entrepreneurs through Micro-credit facilities and farming tools for small scale women farmers.

• To promote women and child development, promote the prevention of HIV/AIDS as well as care and support of victims in the society, and provide services that will reduce poverty among families and communities that require assistance.

• To sponsor and organize programmes, aids or scholarships for the development of the education of orphans and other vulnerable groups in the society.

• To establish centers for capacity building for rural poor families in order to facilitate and undertake human development by fostering self empowerment through training and acquisition of skills especially for orphans, widows, and indigent persons.

• To set up and operate pro-bono legal services for indigent women and children who are victims of indecent assault and domestic violence.

CCUF Delta Chapter aim to spearheaded humanitarian missions in response to both human-made and natural disasters. These humanitarian missions are conducted by the members and volunteers.
